Victor Zambrano is a User Experience/Interaction/Service Designer. In the last 15 years, Victor has worked in most of the design fields, from graphic and visual, to design and development, to interaction, product and service. An architect that went to Italy to pursue a Master in Design, and then specialized in Interaction Design, he has developed interactive projects for top level companies in six countries around three continents.
Born in Boston, MA. (US), I graduated from Architectural School in 1997 at the Universidad Simon Bolivar, Caracas (VE). In December 1999 I obtained a MA in Design degree from Domus Academy (IT). My Master's final project, a revolutionary pair of snowboard trousers for high-level competition were put into production the next year by Dainese, a worldwide leading company in protection-wear.
I was hired by Domus Academy Research Center on July 2000, as Design Researcher. As such I created, designed and implemented, among a multidisciplinary group of professionals, interaction, cutting-edge interface and service design research projects for companies like Philips, Nokia, Mitsubishi and Microsoft MSN, with the support of the I3 Consortium for European Research. Since then I have worked as a User Experience Designer / Interaction Designer in Austria, Venezuela, the United Kingdom and USA working for companies such as Fluidtime, LBi London, Syrup, Fotolog, KBS+P, Organic NYC, Dentsu NYC, Patch.com, Razorfish, for clients such as British Gas, Marks & Spencer, National Health Service, Citibank, NetJets, HomeGoods, BMW America, Procter & Gamble, Scotts, Canon and Intel.
